Web Mail
How would you like to have the ability to check your email from anywhere? As long as you have a web browser and an internet connection it's as easy as doing this:
1)  In your browser, go to: http://rfl.org/up
2) Enter the username and password for the email account you want to check, then select "Login!".

3) The next screen is simply a setup screen where you can configure your email options. Please be sure to read our online help for more information. However, at this time, please be sure to enter your name where indicated and then Save the changes.

4) The next screen will display all your email (see below).

To read your emails, simply double click on the underlined sender's name (indicated under "From" in the above screen shot).

Note the star next to the second email show above. This indicates an unread email. Once you reply to an email, an "R" will be placed next to it (shown above in the first email).

Also note that you can sort the emails by Date, having the most recent emails appear first simply by selecting the up/down arrows located next to the "Date" field, shown above.

To modify more email options, please be sure to select "Options" above.

At any time, select the "?" button (show above) for more detailed help menus.

Web Mail FAQ

Why would I want to use Web Mail to check my email?

Web Mail gives you the ability to check and send email while away from home. Most people only check their email while they are at home because that's where their email program is (Outlook Express, Eudora). However, you don't have to use those programs anymore to check mail because of web based email. The beauty is, you can use any web browser to check and send emails from your email accounts setup on our server. This can be extremely helpful if you are traveling on business, for instance.

Can I send email using Web Mail?

Yes, you can. By using Web Mail, you can send email through our servers.

How is using http://rfl.org/up better than using another site like MailStart?

MailStart is a very good way to check your email if you are away from home. However, the downside is that A LOT of people are using it to check their email...millions of people, in fact. This tends to slow down their servers and, in turn, means you will have to wait longer to check and send emails. By using Web Mail you are logging directly onto our server which will make your email experience a lot faster.

Do the emails I'm seeing get automatically deleted from the server when I view them? I would like to save a copy for when I check it again at home.

No, the emails do not automatically get deleted from the server.  By default, you are merely looking at a copy of the email currently on our server. You would need to intentionally delete the emails in order to remove them from the server.

Can I check email accounts setup through other services using Web Mail?

Sorry, no. At this time, Web Mail is only meant to check email accounts setup for use with RFL.org.
